Raising Pinstripe the Guinea Fowl

Two and half years ago we returned home to find a day-old guinea fowl chick (keet) aimlessly wondering along our driveway.

So began an amazing story of our relationship with Pinstripe that still endures today. SABC 3's nature program 50-50 captures some of the tale in a short insert.

Knysna Elephant - A wild encounter!

On Monday 1st September, late in the afternoon, Howard Butcher one of the owners of Peace of Eden, and legendary Nature Guide of 'Walk on the Wildside' was puttering around the forests on his motor bike and as he came around the corner, there was one of the illusive Knysna Elephants!
